The banner is the page-filling mood photo on your front page.
If you want to know how you add a banner/slider to the front page, follow these steps:
Step 1
Go to the front page
Step 2
For front page editing, click on "Banner" in the left-hand menu.
Step 2
Click on "Choose Files" and open the banner from your computer.
Note: The banner image must be between 1440x576 and 4000x3000 pixels to fit into the website.
Step 3
With the correct file selected, click "Upload".
Tip: Add an alternative text to the image. This allows search engines to include the image in the search results. This helps for the general position of this page and your website in the search results.
- The banner will feature a Call-To-Action. As the name suggests, the CTA encourages a certain action.
In our case this is clicking on the button to go to a certain page.
At "URL" you place the link where the visitor should go if he presses this button.
If you enter "contact" here, the visitor will go to the contact page. - Click on "save". The banner with Call-To-Action has now been added to the front page.
Tip: Opt for a slider to display multiple photos alternately on the banner.
You can activate this to put atmospheric photos or certain products in the spotlight for your visitors.
This gives them an immediate feeling of what your company means.
Add the extra images in the same way as you added the first banner.
The slider is only available in the "Fix Pro pack", "Fix Pro Plus pack" or when activated as a separate feature.
